A Picture-Perfect Setting for Fine Art Photography. The Fine Art Photography Studio is on Bell Street in the heart of downtown Seattle’s coveted Belltown neighborhood. It’s located in an elegant old building that dates to 1913 and was once home to Seattle Empire Laundry. Entering the studio today, you will encounter an urban oasis that balances contemporary flourishes with such classic amenities as wood flooring, original brick interior walls, and eighteen foot ceilings. Beyond the raw shell of the space, you will quickly notice the fabulous views of downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay that appear out of the enormous windows. You’ll want to take a minute to absorb the perspective from this unique setting. There’s no rush!
We’ve outfitted our studio with lots of choice in mind:
- Be photographed in beautiful natural light that pours through our large windows.
- Take advantage of highly controlled lighting using our studio lighting systems and backgrounds.
- Step out on our terrace (weather permitting) and have fantastic city and water views as your natural backdrop.
The Fine Art Photography Studio includes our own lab where all of your photographs are processed in our digital light room. We apply traditional, darkroom techniques to the digital world. We are also skilled at printing your art photographs on archival-quality stock that will not only look great the day we delivery it, but will look great for your children’s children to enjoy. And, because we’re all about comfort, we also have a presentation space where you can view your photographs on a large screen and where we can discuss your printing and framing options.
And finally, depending on their sleeping schedule, you may also encounter two adorable cats who’ve been gracious enough to let Phil work here. Don’t worry, they’re incredibly friendly and we’re sure they’ll provide you which much amusement. And vice versa.
